MESSAGE FROM CHAIRMAN

Ajay Gupta
“He who attains purity though a prolonged practice of ‘karmayoga’ seeks the truth of light within himself”…          Bhagwad Gita

Imparting information and knowledge and instilling the right values of self-discipline have stood the test of time and have played a major role in making us the nation we aspire to be .CLGWS is a small step in this direction. It is a global approach to education, retaining the flavor of the Indian ethos; it aims to empower our children with the skills to succeed in a wholesome environment.

Rightfully, we strive to lay a foundation for our children so that they respond to challenges of life in a forthright manner and become masters of their own destiny.

INNOVATION

Education liberates and the feel of a liberated mind is the basis of all progress. Rightfully so, it is possible only if girls and boys are given equal opportunities. Therefore the group has forayed into education with the launching of C L Gupta World School.

We like you, believe in holistic education for your child, encompassing- academics, co-curricular activities, sports education and life-skills. The state- of-the-art infrastructure and internationally acceptable educational standards are small steps into ushering in the best that an institution can provide through the alleys of learning journey.

The sprawling campus, halls, sports and academic facilities all bear testimony to this effect. Our key focus is in faculty selection and development – providing, continuous teacher training in order to deliver value education and excellence in academics.

Teachers will be trained not only to teach well but also will be expected to inspire and build trust in their students to become role models. The school inculcates in the student a respect for tradition and enforces discipline and good manners.

The school kitchen with its modern amenities offers nutritious, wholesome and well balanced meals which are prepared under strict personal supervision. CLGWS encourages students to learn about themselves and their constantly changing environment, while at the same time offering support and guidance as they practice decision making and social skills.

CLGWS fosters a liberal and diverse environment for the students that nurtures creativity and helps them realize their full potential. We welcome your active interest and involvement in the progress and activities of your child, looking forward to your support.  We invite the parent community in Moradabad and its vicinity, to join hands with us in discovering the latent talent in their child and nurturing it.

Ms. Jyoti Gupta
(Managing Director)

MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL

Principal

Mrs. Savita Singh

“Leaders are learners, leaders are teachers. Good learners and teachers make great leaders"

To be that world citizen or leaders tomorrow, children today need to be independent, and Independence is an attitude – a state of mind. If you are always judging people, you are not independent. If a person’s surname registers in your mind before his first name, you are not independent. If you notice a person’s colour before you notice her smile, you are not independent. If you are Indian, and you like another person just because he is also Indian – you are not independent. If you refuse to consider someone’s opinion just because she is younger, you are not independent. If we can help young minds steer clear of all such imagined boundaries – we will have done our bit.

To make that difference tomorrow, children today need to take small but sure steps to sustainable development. This is what we support students with. Support, does not lead, because if we keep leading, students will get into the habit of following – and that can be very limiting. Those who find it difficult to walk without holding on to something will find our hands – till they get to the next level – that of walking alongside us without holding our hands. Those who can walk without support but are not confident of walking alone will find us walking beside them – till they get to the next level – that of being able to walk alone, and walk ahead. If we manage to make students reach a stage where we become unnecessary and redundant – we really have made  a difference in their lives.

To channelize the creative aspect of the child the school has come up with the school magazine. This is not just a means for a school to communicate its thought but it also highlights the success and achievement of its pursuits. It gives an insight to ones thought and creativity through varied expressions. Our children have been able to leave their imprint in the path they have walked till now and the school has carved a niche of its own in the educational hub.

The school where the quality matters the most we have tried to reflect the kaleidoscope of learning, adventures, creativities and positive approach of our young minds through writings and drawings .I hope this effort of our young minds will serve as a stepping stone towards the many miles stones we have to cover in pursuit of excellence…

Educational technology has permeated all areas of life. Our endeavor is to integrate technology and its range of application 'throughout the classroom' in an attempt to improve the quality of learning instruction. Modern teaching strategies, provision of student enrichment unit, recognition of various student learning styles and culture of academic support create a special learning community. Our focus is to train children to become autonomous learners. Our earnest effort is to provide students with an education that allows them to recognize and realize their 'dreams' and skills and to be able to ignite the passion to excel. Students will be given an environment where in their attributes and strengths can be given a fillip, their creativity developed and spontaneity nurtured. Lot of time and efforts are put in making the classroom experiences really meaningful.  Smart Classes,  well equipped laboratories language laboratory, Computer laboratory, and other such resources are being used to make learning effective and enjoyable for the teachers and learners.

However, we enrich our curriculum with a variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. This allows students to take some initiatives independently, develop their creativity, become more expressive and gain in confidence. With our child centric approach, we focus on equipping our students to deal with their present situations effectively so that they may approach the future with confidence.

Our achievements in sports and games, expressive and creative arts are an integral part of an unreserved education. Ours is a family which is a part of a greater community that caters to social awareness, thoughtful interaction and effective communication among students, parents, staff and our neighbors and is fundamental to its well being.

Dreams stand realized if they are worthy of pursuance not just by the dreamer, but the multitudes who stand to benefit from that dream. If we can turn every student who comes our way into a leader who can make a difference, into a world citizen without biases – we will have done our bit. Hence, I firmly believe:

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
― Nelson Mandela
